Nurse Academy

Tarrant Intermediate School has the honor of having members of the Black Nurse Association meet with cohorts of scholars composed of students from each grade level. This program allows these amazing nurses to educate students about the nursing field and health and wellness. A variety of students are selected through teacher recommendations and student interest surveys. The nursing program serves approximately 25 students each semester, and students meet each Friday from 1:30-2:30.
